Discover in Wanna Try is built for exactly this moment.

Places, not posts

When you save a reel or post about a place, Wanna Try works out where it is: the name, the area, the city, and the spot on the map when it can be found. It reads the caption, the location tag, the text on the images and what is said in the video.

So your saves stop being a list of videos and become a list of real places.

Nearest first

Open Discover and you see the places you saved, sorted by distance from where you are. Each one shows:

• what it is (café, food, a walk, a shop),
• how far it is,
• and why you saved it, in one line.

Switch to the map to see them all at once. Tap one to open the original reel, or get directions.

It can nudge you when you are close

Turn on Know Where I Am in Settings and Wanna Try can send a gentle nudge when you are near something you saved and have not tried yet. One nudge, not a stream. (How it decides is in The smart nudge: a reminder that knows where you are.)

Your exact location is used only while the app is open, to show places near you. You can switch it off any time.

• Lunch breaks: "What did I save within 2 km?"
• Weekends: see everything you saved in one part of the city and plan a route.
• New cities: save reels before a trip, then open Discover when you land.

Make it better in one minute

• Share reels that clearly name the place; they map best.
• For list posts with many places, use split so each place gets its own pin.
• When you go, mark it tried. Tried places step aside so Discover keeps showing what is new to you.
